A little celebration

I remember for Annabelle's first birthday we were traveling to Buffalo and ended up missing our connection in Chicago. The airline rerouted us to Cleveland and then we still had to drive 2 1/2 hours to Buffalo. I was bummed that this was what we were doing for her first birthday even though I knew she didn't know the difference... but still. So, for Madeleine's first birthday we decided to do a little celebratory dinner. The staff was super sweet at the restaurant and brought her an ice cream dessert and sang her Happy Birthday! This will be a fun way to remember her first birthday.
